NURIA GÓMEZ GARRIDO is a writer, director and producer based in Munich. She was born in Spain, where she studied Audiovisual Communication. She obtained a university scholarship to study a year Journalism at the University of Eichstätt (Germany). After that she gained experience in various film, television and theater productions in Spain, Germany and Wales.
In 2006 she began studying at the Munich University of Film and Television, where she graduated in the field of film directing and also made her first short films, which were selected and awarded at several international film festivals.
During her studies, she began working as a writer, director and a creative producer for documentaries, television reports and video installations. She has collaborated in several collective exhibitions and his work has been shown in various museums, such as the “Pinakothek der Moderne” in Munich.2025 she won the DAAD Prize for outstanding achievement of a foreign student.
After graduation, she worked as a VFX producer for German and international feature films and TV series. At the same time, she began to develop his first series and in 2022 she obtained a grant from the DAAD to carry out the historical research for six months in the archives of Paris.
In 2023 she completed her further training at the “Buch Akademie Berlin” as an author and screenwriterand is currently developing various fiction formats, including the international miniseries „LITTLE RED FOX”and the feature film “German Beauty” (WT).
